The Widower – #gargleblaster164

Stephen shuffles the morning paper, flicks on the radio. All news is grim.

Turning to a classical station, he dances. His feet are sure; his joints allow graceful movements.

‘It can’t be long now.’

His heart beats to the music, extending existence.

  1. Extending existence through music. It so appeals to me.

    • It appeals to me too. I’m just not sure Stephen realises he might get fitter and live longer through dancing.

    • Thank you. Yes, I’m hanging on to the music and ignoring the news.
