Harvest Queen

As the days shorten, I become harvest queen, parading through shorn fields.

In a barn loft my attendants tether a crown to my head. I consider tyrannising my siblings, before dividing the blackberries.

      • He!he!Am a bad nite bird-usually am up till 3.30-4a.m–sleep in the mornings-sometimes in the day-privilege of a stay at home mom 😛 Yes,the dreams were sweetly vivid 😉

    • Thank you. I worried over that sentence for a while. Wasn’t sure if shorn, as in stubbly, fields would work. Very happy you liked it.
