Morning – 100WCGU

For this week’s 100 Word Challenge for Grown Ups, Julia’s prompt was

…oh my goodness! I nearly forgot…

‘As always you have 100 words to add to those above. Please make sure you add a link back here so that others can find us. We are gaining new writers all the time.’

Morning (106 words)

‘Oh my goodness, I nearly forgot you, Fred. That wouldn’t do would it? My mind’s all over the place what with losing Mr. Stevens last night. And poor Doris only last week. You were friends with both, weren’t you? Friendly soul that you are.

‘And here you are this morning with a touch of the flu. Let’s get you up and dressed. You mustn’t worry. We’ll look after you.

‘Mrs. Jones says there’s going to be an inspection soon. She’s told them how happy and fit the residents are. You’ll show them, won’t you Fred? How well we look after you all.

‘Now, where’s your medication?’
