Trifextra Challenge: Week 53 – Fireworks

For this weekend’s prompt Trifecta asked for exactly 33-words of dialogue. It took a while coming.

‘It’s cold. Cuddle me.’

‘It went up like a rocket.’

‘The colours are beautiful.’

‘Don’t like that smell.’

‘Look at the flame licking the window.’

‘I told her to get the boiler serviced.’

    • Thanks, Sandra. I had a number of false starts until my mum-in-law phoned to say the gas fire wouldn’t light, and then my imagination got the better of me. I hasten to add, I did not put my mother-in-law in the house in the story.
